Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto said – Pak-China relations will not be allowed to harm anyone

Pakistan: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday pledged that no one will be allowed to harm the friendship between Pakistan and China. Along with this, he also promised to conduct a thorough investigation into the Karachi University attack and bring the culprits to justice. Four people were killed, including three Chinese nationals, in the Karachi University attack.

Three Chinese language professors were killed in an explosion by a burqa-clad female suicide bomber of the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) in a vehicle outside the Confucius Institute at Karachi’s prestigious university. The driver of the vehicle was also killed in this incident.

In an event organized by the Ministry of External Affairs in memory of those killed in this terrorist attack, Bilawal Bhutto said that the whole of Pakistan is saddened with the families and people of the Chinese people who lost their lives.

Bilawal strongly condemns Karachi terrorist attack
Bilawal strongly condemned the Karachi terrorist attack and expressed the government’s commitment to “a thorough investigation into the incident and bring the perpetrators to justice,” the Foreign Office said in a statement. He expressed his determination not to let the steadfast friendship between Pakistan and China be harmed and stressed that the “closer-brotherhood” of Pakistan-China will continue to grow.

The in-charge of the Chinese embassy thanks the Pakistani government
On this occasion, Pang Chunxue, the in-charge of the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan, thanked the Government of Pakistan for organizing the commemoration ceremony. He appreciated the gesture of solidarity and support of Pakistan against the cowardly attack. He said that the blood of the people of China will not be wasted in irrigating this timeless friendship, and that no attack on the all-time strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries will succeed.

Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood in his remarks highlighted that the tragic death of innocent professors had caused deep shock and pain to every Pakistani, but it has not affected the resolve to defeat the scourge of terrorism.
