Accordingly, the Inspector of the Ministry of Information and Communications has just announcedimplementing the inspection conclusion No. 766/KL-TTra dated July 6, 2022 on the irregular inspection of the observance of the law on press for the e-journal of Business and Borders of Vietnam. (hereinafter referred to as the Journal) of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Information and Communications.
According to the provisions of Clauses 1 and 2, Article 61, Clause 1, Article 66 of the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations 2012, on July 18, 2022, the Chief Inspector of the Ministry issued 02 Decisions on sanctioning administrative violations for the Journal. and the head of the Vietnam Business and Border Trade Journal, in which a total fine of 70,000,000 VND, deprivation of the right to use press operation license (electronic type) No. 450/GP-BTTTT dated 08/10/2020 issued by the Ministry of Information and Communications for Vietnam Business and Borders Magazine within 03 (three) months from the effective date of this Decision
Request the Vietnam Business and Borders Review and the Journal’s Editor-in-Chief to strictly abide by the sanctioning decision.
