FATF’s three-day meeting starts from today, Pakistan will be blacklisted or not

new Delhi: Problems of Pakistan may increase in times to come. The three-day virtual meeting of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) is going to start today. The future of Pakistan will be decided in this meeting. In this meeting, it will be decided that Pakistan will be put in the black list countries to give shelter to terrorism or not.

According to Don’s report, Pakistan was asked by the FATF to rein in terrorist activities and to stop terror funding. According to the report, Pakistan has made very little progress in implementing the technical suggestions from the FATF to eliminate Terror funding and money laundering. It is being told that progress has been made on only two of the 40 recommendations.

Let me tell you that before the Corona catastrophe, Pakistan had made a big bet to remove itself from the gray list of FATF. However, before this, the role of Pakistan in the year 2019 in the ‘State Reports on Terrorism’ of the US State Department has been thoroughly explained. It said that organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed targeting India were allowed to operate from their land by Pakistan.
