Elon Musk-run SpaceX is all set to launch its first all-civilian mission ‘Inspiration 4’ into orbit on September 15. The Inspiration 4 mission team said in a tweet, “Hastech Inspiration 4 and Atdarate SpaceX have completed our flight readiness review and remain on track for launch.” Earlier this year in February, SpaceX announced a charity-run mission called Inspiration 4.

They will orbit the planet in SpaceX’s Crew Dragon capsule along an optimized flight path every 90 minutes. At the conclusion of the three-day voyage, Dragon will re-enter Earth’s atmosphere to cool waters off the coast of Florida. Isaacman, 37, is the founder and CEO of integrated payment processing company Shift 4 Payments and a trained pilot. Judd has committed two seats on the Inspiration 4 mission and $100 million to St. Petersburg. Profoundspace reported that he was accompanied by Haley Arsinaux, Sean Proctor and Chris Sambrowski.

Inspiration 4 will launch on September 15 from NASA’s Pad 39A at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. However, the exact liftoff time will be determined only a few days before the launch. Since Dragon will not visit the International Space Station, unlike previous Crew Dragon missions, its docking port has been removed and replaced with a dome window. According to the Inspiration 4 team, the cupola-inspired window on the International Space Station will provide the crew with incredible views of Earth. The Inspiration 4 mission is SpaceX’s latest private astronaut mission.

The company’s AX-1 mission, also planned for the end of 2021, hosts a crew of four private astronauts, who pay $55 million each for an eight-day visit to the ISS. Musk also announced in 2018 that Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa would take a ride around the Moon on SpaceX’s new rocket system Starship, which is under development.
