On the afternoon of December 7, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Pham Duc Long chaired a press conference on the 3rd National Forum for Digital Enterprise Development and awarded the “Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product” award 2021.

The National Forum for Digital Enterprise Development was held for the first time in 2019. After 2 years of organization, the Forum has spread and become an annual and large-scale activity of the technology business community. Vietnamese number.

This year’s forum will be held on December 11 at the National Convention Center (Hanoi) in the form of face-to-face and online to many bridge points across the country.

“Within the scope of this forum, we want to emphasize that digital transformation will be the main driving force for economic recovery and development, with the spirit of Vietnamese digital technology enterprises carrying out the digital transformation.” Deputy Minister Pham Duc Long said.

The Deputy Minister also said that, within the framework of the forum, the Organizing Committee announced the awards of Make in Vietnam products with the participation of many businesses. These are really Make in Vietnam products, designed, created, integrated in Vietnam and more importantly, solving problems in Vietnam.

Information at the press conference, the Organizing Committee said, the 3rd National Forum for Digital Enterprise Development will include 2 main sessions to discuss digital enterprises solving problems of national digital transformation. Digital technology experts and businesses help industries and sectors recover and develop sustainably during and after the Covid-19 pandemic.

With the attendance of leaders of the Government, Party agencies, the National Assembly, ministries, branches, localities and especially hundreds of experts, domestic and foreign technology enterprises, the Forum will be a place to share , inspire, propose solutions, breakthrough ideas, mobilize and gather resources of the whole society to develop tens and hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese technology enterprises.

However, Vietnamese businesses always face barriers of awareness and trust. Therefore, the business representative wishes to have more policies and support for Make in Vietnam products so that this spirit is spread more widely.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuyen, Deputy Director of the IT Department, Ministry of Information and Communications, in the past, IT has developed, many Vietnamese enterprises have processed and assembled, also solved labor problems, but we lack identity and self-reliance. Vietnamese trenches.

“Make in Vietnam spirit helps us to proudly rise up. Over the past two years, Vietnamese businesses have mastered many digital transformation platforms. In 2020, more than 30 platforms announced by the Ministry of Information and Communications are all Vietnamese platforms. In 2021, many Vietnamese businesses have also turned to research and master new technologies such as 5G, AI, and Big data. This is something that hasn’t happened before,” Tuyen said.

According to the share, in 2021 Vietnam will have 5,600 new digital technology enterprises established, the industry also achieved an impressive growth rate of 9%. This is the spread of the spirit of Make in Vietnam and I believe it will spread even more.

Deputy Minister Pham Duc Long added that at this year’s Forum, the Ministry of Information and Communications will announce Vietnam’s digital transformation goals; some Vietnamese problems as well as supporting policies, solutions and tools for businesses. “This year’s forum is an action forum, going into specific problems and thereby spreading it not only in State agencies but also in the business community,” emphasized the Deputy Minister.

The Deputy Minister of Information and Communications also believes: “With the support of the press agencies, the message of the Forum will spread so that the digital and IT business community will have confidence and motivation to develop strongly. , successfully implement the tasks of the digital economy accounting for 20% of GDP by 2025. This is a very challenging goal, demonstrating our aspiration”.
