Dalai Lama in Jammu: Tibetan religious leader Dalai Lama arrived in Jammu on Thursday. The Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibet, who arrived in Jammu from Dharamsala, said that he is not demanding independence from China but autonomy for Tibet within it. The Dalai Lama said that most people in China have a realization that they are not seeking independence within China, but meaningful autonomy and protection of Tibetan Buddhist culture.
The Dalai Lama also said that not the people of China, but some Chinese fundamentalists consider me a separatist. Most of the people of China are realizing that the Dalai Lama is not demanding independence.

The religious leader, the Dalai Lama, said meaningful autonomy within China and wanted to preserve Tibetan Buddhist culture. The Tibetan spiritual leader was responding to a question on China’s objection to his visit to Ladakh. The Dalai Lama also said that more and more Chinese are showing interest in Tibetan Buddhism.
