‘Cyber ​​attack’ on Ukraine amidst threat of war, many government websites affected

Kiev: Amid the threat of a Russian attack, a senior Ukrainian minister said on Wednesday that there has been a major cyber attack on the country. The main websites of the Government and the Ministry of External Affairs were not opening.  Deputy Prime Minister Mykailo Fyodorov  said the attack began in the afternoon and affected several banks as well as official websites.

Fyodorov said that Functioning Sites "Switching the traffic to a different provider to reduce the loss" I was successful. The sites of several ministries and banks were also closed for a few hours last week, with officials suggesting the Denial of Service (DDoS) attack was of Russian origin.
