Covid-19 death rate rises 140% in Pakistan, government warns of lockdown

Pakistan’s concern has increased on the rise of 140 percent in the death rate due to Covid-19. On Wednesday, it has warned of implementing strict measures to prevent infection. He has said that if people violate government guidelines, then lockdown can also be imposed.

Death rate from Kovid increases worry for Pakistan

In Pakistan, death cases due to Kovid-19 have increased by 140 percent compared to the last few weeks. The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) is closely monitoring the situation. The NCOC will have no option but to close the services again, except for strict restrictions and if the standard operating procedure issued by the government does not see improvement.

NCOC chief and Planning Minister Asad Umar was informed during a special session about the apparent increase in corona virus cases. At the same time, he was also warned that in cases of death, a boom is being seen. Jio TV quoted the NCOC statement as saying, “All Chief Secretaries are instructed to strictly implement SOP. Start punitive action for violating SOP.” It was further told that wearing mask mask and social distancing should be ensured.

The NCOC’s statement comes a day after Minister Asad Omar’s statement that he had raised the death toll from Kovid-19 by 140 per cent last week. He also warned people to ignore safety standards. On Tuesday, he tweeted, “Last week’s daily death from Kovid was 12. The death toll has seen an increase of 140 per cent over the past few weeks. We collectively ignore the horrific SOP and make a terrible mistake. And the result has started showing. If we do not correct our attitude, we may have to lose our lives and our lives too. “

Lockdown warning after tremendous growth

In the last twenty-four hours, 19 people have died due to at least Kovid-19. The total number of people who died due to infection has increased to around 6 thousand 7 hundred. Meanwhile, the cabinet has expressed deep concern over the increasing cases of Corona virus infection in Pakistan. It has asked to take necessary protective measures to avoid the second wave of epidemic. Radio Pakistan informed that a cabinet meeting was convened in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan. In which the cabinet was informed about the increase in new cases of corona virus in October as compared to the figures of August and July.

It was also explained in the cabinet that the rate of positive from Kovid-19 has increased to two percent. While there is a boom in death figures too. According to the National Health Service Ministry, 660 new cases of corona virus infection were registered in the last 24 hours. With new cases, the figure has increased to 3 lakh 24 thousand 744. However, 3 lakh 8 thousand people have been cured of the disease so far.
