Breathing exercises for F0 at home

These movements are instructed by the Center for Disease Control of Ho Chi Minh City for F0 at home, with the advice of doctors from the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ho Chi Minh City, technicians from the Department of Rehabilitation Engineering, University University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City.

Accordingly, doctors recommend that in addition to proper care and nutritional supplementation, people with Covid-19 isolated at home should exercise gently, helping to enhance respiratory function. The right exercises help you to expand your chest, increase air in and out of your lungs, so you can breathe better, prevent physical decline, improve mental health, and quickly recover.

In case of fever over 38.5 degrees Celsius, shortness of breath, shortness of breath at rest, chest pain or palpitations, swelling of the legs; Do not practice these movements but contact your doctor immediately.

Stop exercising immediately if you experience any symptoms such as dizziness, nausea or feeling nauseous, shortness of breath more than usual, chest tightness, rough skin, extreme fatigue, irregular heartbeat.

Heart rate and blood oxygen (SpO2) levels should be checked before, during, and after exercise. SpO2 is normal in the range of 96-100%. Stop exercising if SpO2 falls below 88%. You should report these monitoring indicators to your doctor for easy remote support.
