According to ‘The Dawn’, at least three people were killed and 20 are said to be injured in the blast. Lahore Police Spokesperson Rana Arif also confirmed the death toll and the number of injured. At the same time, the CM of Punjab province in Pakistan, Usman Buzdar has taken cognizance of this painful incident. The Inspector General of Police has been directed to submit a report in this regard. Instructions have been given to the officials to provide all possible medical facilities to those injured in the bomb blast.
Political parties condemned the incident
The leaders of the political parties of Pakistan have strongly condemned the incident. PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz said the blast in an area like Anarkali was incredibly sad and disturbing. He prayed for those killed and injured in the incident.
