Bipin Rawat Chopper Crash: The country has lost 13 soldiers including Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat, his wife, in the helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu. Many countries including America, Russia mourned the death of CDS Rawat. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Joint Staff Committee Chairman General Nadeem Raza and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa have expressed grief.

Let us tell you that Pakistan Army Chief Bajwa and India’s first CDS Bipin Rawat knew each other already. Earlier, both have been posted together on the African front. Both were involved in the UN peacekeeping mission in 2008.

Russia’s ambassador to India also expressed grief

Apart from this, Russian Ambassador to India Nikolay Kudashev also said that he came to know about the sudden death of General Bipin Rawat, Madhulika Rawat and 11 other officers in the helicopter crash. Kudashev said that India has lost its great patriot and dedicated hero.

“Russia has lost a very close friend who has played a big role in promoting our special bilateral and privileged strategic partnership,” he tweeted. Goodbye, friend! Goodbye, Commander!’. Australian High Commissioner to India Barry O’Farrell also expressed his condolences to the families of General Rawat and other deceased. He said that India-Australia relations have flourished during the tenure of General Rawat.
