Encephalitis and meningitis belong to the same group of infections of the central nervous system. The disease occurs sporadically all year round, tends to increase in the hot season. General symptoms are fever over 38 degrees Celsius, nausea, vomiting and headache from the first day of infection. Children often lose their appetite, stop feeding, and cry. In particular, the fever lasts continuously and is difficult to lower. Although the child takes fever reducer, after 5-6 hours the medicine wears off, the child has a fever again. Severe cases can cause convulsions, coma, the disease progresses rapidly, so it should be detected early and treated promptly to minimize the risk of death or leaving sequelae of retardation, cerebral palsy, epilepsy for children. young.

Meningitis is a serious infection of the meninges, the membranes that cover the brain and spinal cord. Diseases are caused by many different agents, including fungi or viruses and bacteria.
