At a function organized at Bangabandhu International, he said, I know that many bullets, bombs and grenades are waiting for me. I never care about them. I am working to change the destiny of people and I will definitely do so.
The conference was organized to celebrate the formal recognition of Bangladesh’s graduation to a developing nation by the Centre, United Nations. Hasina said, “Whatever obstacles I face.. I know the path of those who love their country, and they have to go through many hurdles. Hopefully in the hands of future generations,” Hasina said. Development will continue.

He said that no one will last forever. The new generation will have to fulfill the responsibilities to take the development of the country towards prosperity. “I would like to call upon the new generation to love the country and work for the people here,” Hasina said while attending her virtually from her official residence Gan Bhavan.
Realizing the dream of a developed country
He said, we have to fulfill the dream of the Father of the Nation to build a developed and prosperous country. Hasina resolved to follow the ideals of Bangabandhu to fulfill her dream, no matter how dark the road. He also mentioned that his government is ready to chalk out a Smooth Transition Strategy (STS) to continue the ongoing development spree to transform Bangladesh into a developed and prosperous nation by 2041.
