This afternoon (November 22), the Department of Information and Communications of Ba Ria – Vung Tau in collaboration with the National Center for Electronic Authentication, the Ministry of Information and Communications held the opening ceremony to integrate the digital signature solution on the mobile platform into the Public Service Portal. Ba Ria – Vung Tau is the first locality in the country to succeed in integrating digital signature authentication services according to the model of digital signing on mobile devices and remote digital signing into the Provincial Public Service Portal, in order to create favorable conditions for people and businesses to participate in using.

The successfully integrated digital signature solution on the mobile platform is from public digital signature authentication service providers VNPT-CA, Viettel-CA and SimPKI of Mobifone.

Digital signatures have been playing an important role in the digital transformation, especially in the context that the percentage of smart mobile device users in Vietnam is quite high, and the level and need to participate in the digital transformation is quite high. major electronic transactions. In order to be provided with a digital signature solution on a mobile platform, organizations providing public digital signature certification services must meet the specified criteria according to the digital signature model on mobile devices, digital signatures from and licensed by the Ministry of Information and Communications to provide services.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of Ba Ria – Vung Tau Provincial People’s Committee emphasized, this event marks a step forward in the digital transformation process associated with administrative reform of the province, implementation of the implementation. At the ceremony, public digital signature certification service providers signed a memorandum of understanding with the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises to provide the service for this organization for free for 6 months.

After digital signatures are integrated into public services, people and businesses can experience digital signature solutions on mobile platforms with many utilities to conduct electronic transactions. Thereby, improving work efficiency, increasing publicity and transparency in management and administration, and improving people’s satisfaction when participating in electronic transactions.
