Amazon founder and former CEO Jeff Bezos along with three others made history by traveling to space on July 20 this year. Billionaire Jeff Bezos took this tour on a flight prepared by his company Blue Origin. Bezos’ interest in outer space is evident from the time and effort he has put into his space endeavors.
Now one of his videos has revealed that this trip to space was actually a dream for him, which Bezos nurtured within him for years because he had long thought it was too far-fetched.
An interview given to television journalist Charlie Rose almost two decades ago is going viral on social media, in which he is talking about his dreams.
When he was asked what he would like to be or what would he have done if he was not the CEO of Amazon. In response, Bezos said, “If there’s anything I could do, and it turns out it’s a very difficult technical problem, I’d like to help explore space.” Moving on, he said, “I’ll get in a rocket ship, go into space, and check out a few things.”
Hearing his answer, the audience present there started laughing. To this Rose Charlie asked if this is what you set your mind to, you might be able to figure out a way, “but that may not make your directors and stock owners happy.”

In response, Bezos said that “It is really difficult. However, he further added that who knows that technology is going to change significantly in the next 20 years. Maybe it will become easier later.”
