Another 10,489 cases of Covid-19

In the past 24 hours, the number of infections in Ho Chi Minh City increased by 434 cases, Binh Duong decreased by 230 cases, Dong Nai decreased by 241 cases, Long An decreased by 143 cases, Kien Giang increased by 15 cases. Today, 3,945 cases were detected in isolation or blockade areas (down 815 cases), 6,537 cases are under epidemiological investigation (up 714 cases).

During the day, 234 deaths were recorded in: Ho Chi Minh City 160 (lowest in more than 40 days), Binh Duong 46, Long An 10, Tien Giang 6, Nghe An 3, Tay Ninh 2, Ben Tre 2, Thanh Hoa, Khanh Hoa, Kien Giang, Ca Mau and Hanoi are all one.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, Vietnam has recorded 656,129 infections, ranking 47 out of 222 countries and territories.

Seven provinces including Dien Bien, Ha Nam, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho and Vinh Phuc have not recorded new cases for 14 days.

Seven provinces including Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Hoa Binh, Lai Chau, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang and Yen Bai have not recorded any new cases for 30 days.

Regarding testing, In the past 24 hours, 206,892 tests were performed for 884,347 turns of people. The number of tests from April 27 to now has carried out 15,959,983 samples for 46,697,477 turns of people.

Regarding vaccinations, On September 15, there were 715,550 doses of vaccine injected. Thus, the total number of doses injected was 32,296,517 doses, of which the 1st dose was 26,307.653 doses, and the 2nd dose was 5,988,864 doses.

The Ministry of Health today requires vaccination facilities to organize vaccination for all cases from 18 years of age and older according to regulations, not to vaccinate for ages outside the guidance of the Ministry of Health. In case there is an adjustment to the injection age, the Ministry of Health will provide the following guidance.

Ho Chi Minh City continues to apply social distancing measures under the motto “thorough, strict, drastic and effective each measure in each specific area” from 0:00 on September 16 to the end of September 30. .

Hanoi City allows 19 districts, towns to reopen some business services from 12 pm on September 16, including stationery, books, equipment, school supplies; vehicle repair services, electronics, refrigeration and home appliances; Food and beverage service (only take-out) and close before 9pm daily.
