In which, An Giang decreased by 178, Hanoi decreased by 81, Long An decreased by 36. Provinces with increased cases of infection were Tien Giang 171 cases, Ca Mau 125 cases, Ba Ria – Vung Tau 122 cases.
The average number of new infections in the country recorded in the past 7 days is 8,557 cases a day.
87 deaths were recorded in: HCMC 35, Binh Duong 7, Long An 6, Bac Lieu 6, Dong Nai 5, Ca Mau 5; Tay Ninh, Dong Thap, Binh Thuan, An Giang all 3; Soc Trang, Tien Giang, Kien Giang 2; Gia Lai, Vinh Long, Khanh Hoa, Ben Tre, Hau Giang, one each.
The average number of deaths recorded in the past 7 days is 83 cases. The total number of deaths in Vietnam so far is 23,270 – accounting for 2.2% of the total infections.
In the fourth outbreak, the number of new infections recorded in the country was 1,040,346 cases, of which 868,180 patients were declared cured.
Since the beginning of the epidemic, Vietnam has had 1,045,397 infections, ranking 37/223 countries and territories, while with the ratio of infections per million people, Vietnam ranks 150/223 countries and territories (10,609 cases per million people on average).
Two provinces and cities with no secondary infections in the area in the past 14 days are Yen Bai and Bac Kan.
Localities with high cumulative infections during this outbreak: Ho Chi Minh City (449,776), Binh Duong (244,720), Dong Nai (79,262), Long An (36,772), Tien Giang (21,951).
Regarding treatment, The number of recovered patients in a day was 6,481, bringing the total number of cured cases to 870,997. The number of serious patients being treated is 4,101 cases.
About the test, in the past 24 hours, 166,888 tests were performed for 238,597 turns of people. The number of tests from April 27 to now has done 24.3 million samples for 64.7 million people.
About vaccinations, on November 15, there were 1,089,217 doses of vaccine injected. Thus, the total number of doses injected is 100.8 million doses, of which the 1st dose is 64.7 million doses, the 2nd dose is 36 million doses.
Facing the increasing F0 situation, the health sector in Ho Chi Minh City plans to reopen the concentrated isolation areas of the district to monitor and treat infected cases who are not eligible for home isolation.
Hanoi has also just approved a policy for 12 hotels to be allowed to add F1 cases to be isolated voluntarily but at their own expense. The city assigned the People’s Committees of districts: Hoan Kiem, Ha Dong, Ba Dinh, Soc Son to coordinate with the Department of Health and Department of Tourism to implement this concentrated isolation plan.
