They from Germany entered Tan Son Nhat airport on flight VN30 on December 30, isolated in Binh Duong province. Test results on December 31st at Pasteur Institute of Ho Chi Minh City were positive for nCoV, patients were treated at Binh Duong General Hospital.
“Patient 1474”, male, 50 years old, in District 7, HCMC. He from Canada transited Incheon Airport (South Korea), then entered Tan Son Nhat Airport on flight VN405 on December 29, isolated in Long An province. Sampling on December 30, the test results at the Center for Disease Control of Long An province and the Pasteur Institute of Ho Chi Minh City were both positive for nCoV, the patient was treated at Long An Provincial General Hospital.
Thus, the total cases increased to 1,474, the total was from 1,325. The death toll from Covid-19 was 35, with four deaths after three to four negative tests. The rest of the patients remained healthy, of which 7 tested negative for nCoV once, 11 were negative for the second time, and 10 were negative for the third time.
The total number of people in close contact and entry from the epidemic zone is more than 17,000. In which, isolation is concentrated in hospital 150; more than 15,000 concentrated isolation, remaining at home or accommodation.
