An additional 40 cases of Covid-19


New cases are recorded number 2272-2311, Specifically:

In Quang Ninh, “patient 2272” is F1 of case 2092, previously quarantined. Results of 3 days test on February 16, patients positive for nCoV, treated at Hospital No. 2 Quang Ninh.

In Hanoi, “patient 2273” F1 of case 1819, previously isolated, the second test result on February 15 was positive for nCoV. Patients treated at Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases 2.

In Hai Duong recorded 34 cases, the number of patients from 2274 to 2311. Of which 34 cases were F1, which was previously isolated, 4 cases were infected clusters in the same family, detected through fever and cough surveillance in the community. Epidemiological investigation is being continued. The patient is being treated at Field Hospital No. 2, Hai Duong University of Medical Technology.

Thus, from January 28 to February 16, the Ministry of Health recorded 719 community infections, in 13 provinces including Hai Duong (539), Quang Ninh (60), Ho Chi Minh City (36), Hanoi. (35), Gia Lai (27), Binh Duong (6), Bac Ninh (5), Dien Bien (3), Hoa Binh, Hung Yen and Bac Giang 2 shifts each, Hai Phong, Ha Giang one shift each .

Up to now, the total number of infections has risen to 2,311, the number from 1,573, the number of deaths from Covid-19 is 35, and four people have died after three to four negative tests. The rest of the patients were in stable health, of which 37 had tested negative for nCoV once, 29 were negative for the second time, and 20 were negative for the third time.
