“Patient 1368”, male, 36 years old, in Vien Noi commune, Ung Hoa district, and “patient 1369”, Male, 33 years old, in Viet Hung ward, Long Bien district, Hanoi. “Patient 1370”, male, 22 years old, in Phu Luong commune, Phu Vang district, Thua Thien – Hue province. “Patient 1371”, male, under one year old, in Thuy Duong commune, Thuy Nguyen district, Hai Phong city. “Patient 1372”, male, 22 years old, in Tien Ky commune, Tan Ky district, Nghe An province. “Patient 1373”, female, 55 years old, in Cam Son ward, Cam Pha city, Quang Ninh province. “Patient 1374”, female, 46 years old, in Ngoc Son commune, Hai Duong city, Hai Duong province. “Patient 1375”, male, 21 years old, in Thai Son commune, Hiep Hoa district, Bac Giang province.
On December 5, these eight people from Russia entered Cam Ranh airport on flight QH9195, isolated and tested in Khanh Hoa. Test result on 7/12, positive for nCoV, they treated at Ninh Sim Clinic, Ninh Hoa district, Khanh Hoa province.
“Patient 1376”, Male, 32 years old, Turkish nationality, entered Tan Son Nhat Airport on flight TK6470 on December 6. He isolated, took a sample in Ho Chi Minh City, tested positive on December 7 for nCoV, and treated at Cu Chi Field Hospital.
“Patient 1377”, male, 35 years old, in ward 12, district 10, HCMC. On December 6, he entered Da Nang airport from Japan on flight VN719, isolated and tested in Quang Nam city. Test result on 8/12, positive for nCoV, patient treated at Quang Nam Central General Hospital.
Thus, the total number of infections to 1,377, the number from 1,224. The death toll from Covid-19 was 35, with four deaths after three to four negative tests.
The rest of the patients were in stable health, of which 8 tested negative for nCoV once, 5 were negative for the second time and 4 were negative for the third time.
The total number of people in close contact and entry from the epidemic zone is more than 20,000. In which, isolation concentrated in the hospital more than 150; concentrated isolation more than 16,000, the remainder at home or accommodation.
Vietnam appears to have community infections in Ho Chi Minh City after 89 days of no community infection. The outbreak is basically under control, no new cases have been recorded for the year. However, the risk of epidemic infiltration is always permanent, especially when increasing the number of flights bringing Vietnamese citizens and water experts. The Ministry of Health recommends that people continue to well implement the “5K Message”, especially wearing a mask and washing their hands with soap and antiseptic solution.
The world records more than 1.5 million people dying from COV in more than 67 million infected people. The US is the country most severely affected by the epidemic, followed by India and Brazil.
