US Department of State Report on Terrorism: The US State Department has released a report on terrorism, in which it has exposed Pakistan. The ‘Country Reports on Terrorism 2020’ states that Pakistan has made limited progress in fighting terrorism and has not taken steps to prosecute the terrorist. The report also said that Indian security agencies are effective in preventing terrorist threats.

The report said that Pakistan has made limited progress in combating terrorism and has not taken steps to prosecute terrorists such as Jaish-e-Mohammed founder Masood Azhar and Lashkar’s Sajid Mir (2008 Mumbai mastermind). Huh. The report further said that Indian security agencies are effective in dealing with terrorist threats. However, gaps remain between intelligence agencies and information sharing. The report also said that there were 66 Indian-origin fighters in the terrorist organization ISIS.
The report further claimed that the Pakistani government continued to support the Afghan peace process. According to the report, Pakistan experienced significant terrorist threats in 2020. The number of attacks and casualties was slightly higher than in 2019.
