America donated 100 breathing machines to Vietnam

100 new US-made ventilators were received by Vietnam on September 30, used for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The US Ambassador to Vietnam, Mr. Daniel Kritenbrink, said that the world is impressed with Vietnam’s strategy and proactive solutions in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic.

“However, this serious epidemic is still a threat to Vietnam and the world,” said the US ambassador.

The number of ventilators are manufactured in the US with advanced technology, compact, easy to install and operate. Acting Health Minister Nguyen Thanh Long assessed this as an important event marking the Vietnam – US cooperation in the health sector as well as Covid-19 prevention and control.
