However, at twenty-eight years old, Alex Bouaziz is probably one of those whose dazzling career is among the most impressive. With Deel, his start-up launched in 2018 which digitalizes the wage portage of the self-employed, he has just completed a third fundraising in just fourteen months (132 million euros), valuing it 1.1 billion.

Andreessen Horowitz, the investor who had unearthed Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Skype, led one of the last rounds. And for this Series C, Dara Khosrowshahi, CEO of Uber, and Jeff Wilke, the boss of consumption and veteran of Amazon, have joined the circle of tech tenors leaning on the cradle of Deel. Not so long ago, at the age of sixteen with a bachelor’s degree in hand, Alex Bouaziz left France to settle in Israel and embark on environmental engineering studies.
