Kabul: At least six people were injured in an explosion at a mosque during prayers in central Kabul on Wednesday. This is the second blast in the Afghan capital in a week. Earlier on Sunday, one person was killed and at least 59 people were injured in the blast.
According to a spokesman for Kabul’s military commander, the explosion occurred on Wednesday when someone threw a grenade at the mosque. He said that one person was arrested in this regard. These eruptions have come after comparatively less violence in the cold winter months.
