Kabul: At least 25 people were killed and many others were injured in a shootout at Kabul University in Afghanistan. All the three attackers have been killed by the security forces. Please tell that when the firing started, the book exhibition was going on in the university at that time.
University professor Jabiullah Hydari told local TV station ‘Arianna’ that classes were also going on when the firing started. According to Hydari, due to the firing, university personnel and security personnel started taking students out of the campus.

Last year, eight people lost their lives in a bomb blast at the university’s gate. In 2016, gunmen attacked the American University in Kabul and killed 13 people.
Last month, the Islamic State sent a suicide bomber to a teaching center in the capital’s Shiite-dominated Dasht-e-Barchi, killing 24 students and injuring more than 100.
