“Patient 1095”, male, 49 years old, on September 26 on flight QH9495 from Russia to Can Tho airport, was immediately quarantined. On September 27, Can Tho City Center for Disease Control took a sample and tested negative for the nCoV one time. On September 30, he was sampled for a second test, and the results were positive. The patient was treated at Can Tho City Tuberculosis and Lung Disease Hospital.
On the same flight, there were 17 cases of nCoV positive, isolated in Bac Lieu province.
Thus, the last 24 hours added one case, three more cases. The total number of infections increased to 1,095, the cure was 1,010. The number of deaths from Covid-19 was 35, with three deaths after three to four negative tests.
The remaining patients are treating 8 health facilities that are stable, of which three people tested negative for nCoV the first time, three were negative for the second time and 11 were negative for the third time.
Yesterday, the last two patients in Hai Duong were announced cured. The province is now “clean” nCoV.
Up to now, Vietnam has recorded 691 cases of Covid-19 caused by domestic infections, the rest are on entries.
The total number of people who have been in close contact and entering from the quarantine area is more than 15,000. In which, isolation concentrated in the hospital more than 200; isolation concentrated more than 10,000, the rest at home and accommodation.
