A new study came out in the battle with Corona, the booster dose of Corona Vaccine Pfizer is 95.6% effective

Third Dose Of Pfizer: The campaign of anti-corona vaccination is going on in most countries around the world. At the same time, India has achieved the target of crossing 100 crores in the case of corona vaccination. Meanwhile, a study has revealed that the third dose of Pfizer/BioNtech Corona Vaccine is up to 95.6 percent effective against infection. According to vaccine manufacturers, the third dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine against Kovid-19 is 95.6 percent effective in people who have not received a booster.

Pfizer-BioNtech on Thursday announced the results of a Phase III trial that evaluated the efficacy and safety of a 30-µg booster dose in the primary series of mRNA-based Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. “10,000 participants aged 16 years and older took part in a booster dose trial. Half of the participants in the trial were given a 30-Μg booster dose, while the remaining half received a placebo,” the company said in a statement. Five COVID-19 cases were identified in the booster dose group, while 109 cases were identified in the placebo group.

The study announced the first results of a booster trial, in which the third dose of the vaccine provided favorable protection. “These results provide further evidence of the benefits of boosters, as we aim to keep people well-protected from this disease,” said Albert Boerla, CEO of Pfizer. The company said in a statement that preliminary results will be shared with regulatory agencies as soon as possible.

Many countries have already approved the Kovid-19 booster dose to increase immunity in people who have been vaccinated earlier. However, according to some studies, its effect may subside after a few months. In the United States, the federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in September approved a third dose of the vaccine for all people 65 years of age and older.

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) approved booster doses for those over 18 in early October, allowing national regulators to decide which groups would be eligible first. In Israel, the authorities have approved a booster dose for everyone 12 years of age and older.
