According to the Ha Tinh CDC, from mid-July until now, more than 60 people from the southern epidemic provinces have traveled by motorbike or personal car to their localities, the results of which have tested positive for nCoV. These people, when passing through the checkpoints, are medically checked and taken to concentrated isolation as prescribed.

The health sector predicts that the whole province has a high risk of an outbreak of the disease again due to the discovery of a community infection of unknown source on August 8. In addition, many people from epidemic areas and provinces are carrying out Directive 16 returning to their localities by personal means, most of which are at high risk of testing positive.

Every day, the functional forces make minutes to sanction many drivers carrying people from the region who are implementing Directive 16 to return to their hometown, violating the province’s Covid-19 prevention regulations. Particularly on August 12, the southern road traffic control point (Ha Tinh Police Department of Traffic Police), located in Ky Nam commune, Ky Anh town, administratively sanctioned 14 cases.

From June 5 to now, Ha Tinh has recorded 278 people positive for nCoV, of which 260 cases have been given patient codes by the Ministry of Health.
