37 people in Ho Chi Minh City contacted the Hanoi notary

CDC Ho Chi Minh City on 3/2 said it has traced 37 cases of contact with “patient 1883”, notary public in Hanoi to HCM City.

In which, 27 people exposed in Ho Chi Minh City and 10 people exposed on flight VN7245. Currently, 26 cases have been sampled and are awaiting the results.

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) Ho Chi Minh City recommends that all passengers taking two flights VN7245 from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City at 6:30 and QH242 from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi take off at 19h45 on January 29, report to local health authority.

Epidemiological investigation showed that, at 6:30 a.m. on January 29, a notary (“patient 1883”) flew from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, flight VN7245 with the 23C seat number. only 211 Bui Vien, Pham Ngu Lao ward, district 1, about 50 m, sitting on the sidewalk, about 15 minutes. There was only one waiter in the restaurant and one Filipino guest sitting behind him.

After that, he walked to Sabroso cafe at 211 Bui Vien, meeting his friend named Dung in about an hour. The cafe had two employees in contact with him; identified one person in Nha Be, one person in Binh Duong.

At about 11:00 a.m., a man named Dung drove him by car to a meeting point with a man named Long, then Dung drove back. Around 12 o’clock, the notary and Mr. Long went to eat at Hanh beef noodle shop, Banh Van Tran street, ward 7, Tan Binh. Two people went to drink coffee at 149/12 Banh Van Tran, meeting two employees of the restaurant.

Around 14-15, two people entered the massage shop “Wellness” on Nguyen Chi Thanh Street, District 5, and met with 10 employees of the restaurant.

5:00 pm, the two of them arrived at Mr. Thanh’s house, Bach Dang street, ward 2, Tan Binh district. After about 5-10 minutes Mr. Long left, the notary stayed. There was a wife, son and granddaughter in Mr. Thanh’s family, but they were all upstairs. After that, Mr. Thanh drove him to the airport by motorbike and flew back to Hanoi.

At 19h45 on the same day, he notarized Bamboo Airways flight QH242 from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, sitting at seat 35C.

At noon on February 3, authorities blocked a coffee shop in Pham Ngu Lao pedestrian street, district 1 because “patient 1883” came in from the notary office in Hanoi on January 29. In the past 7 days, HCM City received 794 cases of reporting from epidemic zones or having contact with infected cases. In which, 772 cases have taken samples to test, 22 cases are waiting for sampling. The results showed only one positive – “patient 1660”; 683 negative, 88 waiting for results.
