Lansing: A small plane crashed in Southwest Virginia on Sunday, killing three people from Virginia on board. Officials gave this information.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said in a statement that the single-engine Beechcraft C23 crashed after take-off from Fayette Airport in Fayetteville at around 11 a.m. local time.
