12 more people in Hanoi, 20 Nghe An suspected of Covid-19

Hanoi Department of Health recorded 12 people positive for nCoV from 6 pm on August 7 to 6 am on August 8. Nghe An detected 20 cases, the most by day. One case in Ha Tinh ended 38 days without community transmission.

These cases have not been announced by the Ministry of Health and are considered as suspected cases.

At Hanoi, 12 cases including 9 people detected in the community and 3 people in the isolation area. Of these 12 people, 10 belong to the cluster of community cough and fever cases and related people, one related to Lang Ha pharmacy, one related to Hanoi Lung Hospital.

New cases are distributed in 6 districts, including: Long Bien, Dong Da, Hoang Mai, Tay Ho, Hoai Duc, and Thuong Tin.

Thus, from April 27 to now, Hanoi has 1,739 positive cases of nCoV, of which the number of cases recorded in the community is 1,049, the number of cases is isolated: 690.

Center for Disease Control (CDC) Nghe An On the morning of August 8, 20 were recorded positive for nCoV, this is the first time the province detected the highest number of infections in half a day, from 7pm on August 7.

Of these, 11 are female (ages 3 to 39); The rest are male (aged from 16 to 46, residing in many localities in Quynh Luu, Anh Son, Yen Thanh, Thanh Chuong, Quy Hop, Dien Chau districts…

Many of them come from Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Long An and Hanoi. They were isolated and sampled before the results were confirmed.

Nguyen Van Dinh, Director of CDC, said that 20 positive cases of nCoV this morning is also the highest number recorded since the outbreak in this province from June 13.

Thus, from June 13 to this morning, the province recorded 369 cases of infection and suspected infection. Quynh Luu district has the most cases with 98 cases, Vinh City has 95 cases, Yen Thanh districts 28, Tuong Duong and Dien Chau districts each have 27 cases.

In Ha Tinh, A 28-year-old woman from Cam Xuyen district on the evening of August 7 was confirmed by the CDC to be positive for nCoV. The case of the disease is of unknown source, ending 38 days in Ha Tinh without the appearance of community Covid-19 from June 28.

According to CDC Ha Tinh, the woman is a fruit trader, from Hoang Van village, Cam Duong commune, Cam Xuyen district, residing in Dong Tru Tay village, Ky Dong commune, Ky Anh district. On August 4, she had a fever, bought her own medicine and treated it at home. On August 7, he went to Cam Xuyen District Health Center for a quick test of suspicious results, and the test results at CDC Ha Tinh were positive for nCoV.

During the night, the health sector traced 47 F1, this morning 32 samples were negative for nCoV for the first time, the remaining samples are waiting for results. Cam Xuyen district has set up 4 checkpoints at the entrances and exits of Hoang Van village, Cam Duong commune, set up a temporary blockade area with 147 households, 506 people. Ky Anh district blocked 9 houses with F1 in 4 villages in Ky Dong commune, including Dong Tru Tay, Dong Tru Dong, Hai Van and Dong Phu.

From June 5, Ha Tinh recorded 221 people positive for nCoV, of which 208 cases were granted patient codes by the Ministry of Health.
