Indian pavilion at Dubai Expo: The ‘India Pavilion’ located at Dubai Expo-2020, the biggest trade fair in the Gulf region, completed 100 days on Monday. During this, more than 7.40 lakh people reached the Indian Pavilion to see the cultural and geographical diversity. Industry and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said in a tweet on the occasion of 100 days of the Indian Pavilion at the Expo that the whole world is seeing it as a center of innovation, growth and opportunities. “Indians arrived at the pavilion to experience the great celebration of the story of progress,” he said.
The pavilion was inaugurated by Goyal on October 1 last year. The India Pavilion has been the center of attraction among the visitors to the Expo. Till January 8, 7,40,356 people have reached this pavilion. The Dubai Expo will run till March 31, 2022. Jammu and Kashmir week is being celebrated this week in India Pavilion. During this, a lot of emphasis is being given on tourism activities. The Jammu and Kashmir administration has also signed six agreements to raise investments worth $ 2.5 billion.
Many senior ministers of India have also participated in the India Pavilion. Apart from Goyal, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Power Minister RK Singh and Minister of State for Information Technology Rajiv Chandrashekhar have also attended the Dubai Expo.

Let us tell you that in the Dubai Expo, India got a special place among 191 countries of the world. India had made its pavilion in this expo, where India’s art-culture, diversity, science, technology, space mission and Make in India were placed in front of the world. The unique confluence of India’s great culture and advancement in technology has been shown through this expo.
In the Dubai Expo, India’s pavilion, the grand Ram temple being built in Ayodhya and the first Hindu temple being built in Abu Dhabi is present, as well as the Assi Ghat of Varanasi and the Statue of Unity. India’s achievements on the lines of Digital India and Make in India have also been shown in the expo. Apart from Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Hampi Temple, Sun Temple, historical heritage like Taj Mahal has also been included in this expo.
